Solid Oak Flooring

Our solid European oak comes in a number of different grades, ranging from rustic grade through to prime grade.

The grades vary in the number of knots, fissures, cracks and figuring they contain, but all share the same high-quality precision machining:

  • Tongue & groove edges, micro-bevelled along their lengths for even, non-trip joins.
  • Grain end matched for pleasing visual continuity on long floor runs.
  • Stress grooves cut into the back side for increased stability and shrinkage/warpage resistance.

Engineered Oak Flooring

Engineered flooring consists of a veneer of solid wood that is bonded to a hardwood plywood backing, creating a floorboard that appears indistinguishable from a solid oak board once installed.

As with our solid flooring, the machining precision of our engineered boards is quality, providing you with a smooth, even floor.

The great benefit of engineered flooring is its stability – it’s ideal for use over underfloor heating or in rooms liable to have water splashing, such as kitchens and bathrooms.
