Description Cardioid microphone Audio-Technica AT4041 Cardioid electret condenser microphone designed to meet the most critical acoustic requirements of professional recording, broadcast and live sound. It presents a homogeneous and extended response, with a slight increase in the high frequency area. The external structure in turned brass, black chromed, provides robustness and low reflectivity. The features a transformerless output for maximum sound pressure withstand. The AT4041 features a precisely knurled backplate surface, which reduces unnatural peaks and distortions in the frequency response. The backplate is aged, thus providing energy stability, maintaining a fixed load which allows for reduction in diaphragm weight, improving transient response and increasing the audio frequency range. The rugged microphone is encased in a turned brass frame with black plating for durability and low reflectivity.
